Higher yield, less manual rework, flexible and varied application options: Those who rely on Weber’s automated defatting solution for their defatting processes benefit in more ways than one. 

Thanks to the expansion and further development of the Weber defatting technology, the ASD 460 is capable of processing boneless cuts such as backs, loins, and loins with ribs, as well as cutlets. This is made possible by a newly developed servo drive technology with which the cuts to be defatted can be processed in a targeted manner. The axles of the defatting machine are moved more quickly with the servo technology, which leads to more precise defatting results. In addition, a wider range of applications for product processing is possible. The success model ASD 460 is also available in a modular version. Its modular design gives meat processing businesses maximum flexibility, as this version can also be retrofitted with a derinding component later on. Another benefit: the combination of defatting machine and derinder is particularly compact.

The Weber high-performance machine ASD 460 is extremely powerful, achieving an output of up to 1,200 products per hour – without the need for manual loading, as the products can be fed into the machine line-integrated. The ASD 460 defatting machine is equipped with camera-supported detection of the fat thickness and pre-programmed longitudinal profile runs, which allow the processing procedure to run fully automatically. Uniform defatting thicknesses are achieved using a "slicing curve" method. This can be adjusted automatically – with a predefined fat surface layer or fat-free, as required. The result is uniform processing of the products and thus calculation reliability, which is particularly important when processing fine cuts such as loin and cutlet.
