With the establishment of a new subsidiary, Weber Food Technology takes over direct customer support from the current partner Niederwieser Spa.

Benvenuta Italia – New Weber subsidiary starts in 2025.

A further step towards even closer customer proximity and comprehensive support: On January 1, 2025, Weber Food Technology will establish its own subsidiary in Italy. As a result, Weber will take over the direct support of Italian customers from its current sales partner Niederwieser Spa starting in 2025. Weber looks back on a long and trusting relationship with Niederwieser. This company has been responsible for sales and service of Weber solutions in Italy for over thirty years. However, the right time for change has now come for both companies. “I am very proud of what we have built together with Weber and how many close customer relationships have resulted over the years. Nevertheless, I believe that the time has now come for the Niederwieser Group to become focused,” Manfred Niederwieser, President of the Niederwieser Group, explains the decision.

Opening an own subsidiary brings great advantages and added value above all to Italian customers: Starting in 2025, these will benefit from access to the entire Weber portfolio of innovative processing and packaging solutions as well as service offers – from advice and project handling to after-sales support to use of the global software solutions and support structures. This will allow Weber to support food producers in Italy even more comprehensively. With the launch of Weber Food Technology Italia, all Niederwieser employees who previously worked in the Weber sales partnership will also be part of the new Weber team. The many years of experience and the know-how of the team are a crucially important factor and of great value for the future development and success of the new Weber location.

“Niederwieser was an unbelievably competent and reliable partner at our side. We greatly appreciate their work up to now and are thankful that Niederwieser has established the Weber solutions in Italy so well,” emphasizes Tobias Weber, CEO of the Weber Group. “I find it all the better that we can build on this work and that above all the employees will remain true to their customers – only in the name of Weber starting in 2025.” Niederwieser Spa Managing Director Gerhard Zoeschg sees great potential especially in the increased sales possibilities: “I am happy that, together with my team, I will be able to offer our customers Weber products in the future that were not previously possible as a partner. This includes the wide variety of digital products, for example.” Italian customers will thus be able to draw from the entire Weber portfolio of product and service solutions. For fast and comprehensive customer support, Weber also plans to expand the service offer further as well as establish a spare parts warehouse for high and short-term availability.
